1. Purpose.
The purpose of this Branding policy (referred to as Policy) **is to establish clear guidelines for the use of RnDAO’s brand for members, contributors, partners, service providers, and other affiliates. The Policy ensures that the representation of the RnDAO brand is consistent and cohesive across all platforms, mediums, and communications, and in accordance with the rules established in this Policy.
2. Definitions.
- Affiliates: Individuals, organizations, or entities that are formally associated with the RnDAO through partnerships, collaborations, or other agreements.
- DAO: Decentralized Autonomous Organization.
- Brand Guidelines: A set of comprehensive rules and standards that govern the use of the DAO’s brand elements and intellectual property.
- Brand Identity: The visual and emotional elements that make up our brand, including the company logo, colors, typography, messaging, and other brand assets.
- Intellectual property (IP): All creations of the mind (and technology as a tool) associated with the RnDAO, including but not limited to names, logos, trademarks, service marks, designs, and other brand elements
3. Brand Elements.
RnDAO’s brand identity includes following elements:
- Name: The official name 'RnDAO' represents our organization's identity and must be used consistently across all communications, materials, and platforms. Any alterations and abbreviations are strongly prohibited, unless expressed differently in the RnDAO’s branding guidelines.
- Logo: Our logo is the visual representation of our brand. Any alterations, distortions, color and/or font and/or symbol changes are not allowed. Logo variations that are approved by the RnDAO can be found in the DAO’s official brand guidelines document.
- Colors: The approved color palette for our brand is outlined in the brand guidelines document. Any alterations to official RnDAO colors are prohibited.
- Typography: The designated fonts for our brand are outlined in the brand guidelines document. These fonts should be used in all written materials to maintain consistency.
- Any other brand elements that can be found in publicly available RnDAO’s brand guidelines, but might not be covered in this Policy at the time of reading.

4. Use of the RnDAO’s Brand.
- Members and contributors are permitted to use the RnDAO’s name and logo to showcase their association with the DAO on social media platforms, portfolios, and other channels provided they strictly adhere to the brand guidelines and this Policy. Any misuse of RnDAO brand elements, such as name and logo (but not limited to), for the purpose of falsely representing association with the RnDAO, may be subject to legal actions. If an individual misuses the DAO brand in any way, the DAO will formally notify them in a written format and request the prompt removal of the brand from their profiles and/or content.
- Unauthorized use, alteration, or misrepresentation of our brand assets is strictly prohibited.
