Write about the major update of the release.
Before now, Meetwithwallet users can only login/sign up with their several chain compatible wallets like Metamask, Phantom, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, and Wallet Connect. We extended Meetwithwallet to more users who would prefer to login with their Google account, Email address, Phone Number, or Passkey. In this update, we’ll be sharing everything (maybe not everything you’ll learn while using them) you need to know about them with you.
We made it possible for users to easily sign in to Meetwithwallet with their Google accounts, this is a way to make the tool more accessible to people who prefer to just use their Google account for every authentication. With this important improvement, not having a Wallet won’t be a barrier for a user not to use Meetwithwallet.
An email login feature which allows users to simply enter their email address and receive a one-time passcode to verify their account and complete their account setup is now available.
We also added an option to allow users sign in with their phone number. You just have to enter your phone number, receive a verification code and then go ahead to complete your account setup.
We added Passkey login using public key cryptography, ensuring private keys never leave user devices. Users can now log in without having to go through email verification, leveraging biometrics or device-specific authentication. Private keys stored securely on user devices reduce the risk of phishing attacks and data breaches.
