Definitions:

This proposal distinguishes between 4 phases:

  1. Genesis: creation of the idea and initial team formation (up to kick-off workshop).
  2. Bootstrapping: developing the idea up to the moment that funds have been obtained and are approved through a proposal for distribution to contributors
  3. Post Bootstrapping or Partial Bootstrapping: after funds (obtained from grants/donations, revenue, or debt) are approved for distribution to contributors and before a Valuation Event for the project has taken place.
  4. Post-Valuation Event: Starting immediately after the Valuation Event and onwards

Note: Currently, RnDAO is in the Bootstrapping phase.

Each Phase gets allocated a % of the contribution accounting, which is then 'distributed’ amongst the contributors who participated in that phase.

(note that no actual distribution takes place, contribution accounting is simply a record for the team to use as they see fit).
