In traditional corps, shareholders decide, delegate to c suite who subsequently delegate to an employee hierarchy. In most cases the employees are in a much better position to understand the needs of the organization, customers and other stakeholders.

Being that a DAO is a ‘decentralized network of autonomous agents coordinating shared resources with cryptographic fidelity’, the decentralized network (community) should make the decisions.

For DAO Governs, we change the decision system. Founder’s and Key Contributors support the community rather than the other way around. Develop systems to determine the community needs and wants. Establish a prioritization process through a ranking system. Then the Founder’s and Key Contributors engage the DAO to achieve these prioritized actions. As the Community feels the success of achieving their own goals and visions, they will offer more ideas and work harder and harder to achieve them.

I propose that research be done to identify ways for Founders and Key Contributors to engage the community in such a way that the DAO members prioritize which decisions should be acted on. Also research how the Founders and key contributors engage action from the community.
