Motivation(s) for this role
- RnDAO needs a coordinated marketing strategy and communications plan to support community growth, ecosystem development, and effective messaging around the DAO’s programs and initiatives. The Marketing Lead should facilitate the development of cohesive strategy and management of its execution.
- There are many projects and developments going on at once in RnDAO, and the external communication needs to be organized efficiently.
- A strong brand requires a consistent voice and high quality content. This role should help RnDAO maintain and further develop this over time.
Agreements
Role Agreements:
- Purpose: The Marketing Lead serves to steward RnDAO’s Marketing unit and support the initiatives of other units when it comes to marketing needs. The role exists to help share RnDAO’s work and programs with the wider community, further healthy ecosystem development, and manage a cohesive strategy for productive growth.
- Accountabilities:
- Eligibility: experience in marketing & communications work
- Domains:
- Success Criteria: TBD - Objectives, Metrics (KPIs), and or Targets (specific quantity within a metric or qualitative change within an objective that's aimed to attain or exceed). Also including when/by whom/how the success criteria are evaluated.
- Permissions*: specific abilities the role has e.g. access rights to specific tools or domains, admin control of a tool, etc.*
- Additional Agreements with other Roles and/or Units: by default, every role and Unit inherits RnDAO agreements, and every role also inherits any agreements from the Unit it belongs to.
Compensation:
2-month period starting Feb 5
10 hours a week
$40 an hour
Occasional 2 extra hours a week for points - team points are equivalent to daily rate at a 1:1 ratio and redeemable at a future date pending RnDAO funding requirements
