Proposal structure

  1. Unit's Purpose: This unit will facilitate an orderly, ongoing, self-guided process to establish cooperative parameters for RnDAO past, present and future contributors.

    1. The first step will be to craft a proposal for the Contribution Accounting of contributions to date model that will be presented to RnDAO for approval.

  2. Unit Lead Roles and Responsibilities: Track key components or otherwise appoint Contributors to lead/facilitate success in:

  3. Generating alignment and providing direction (policy and vision)

  4. Decomposing work into smaller pieces (strategy)

  5. Allocating work (who does what)

  6. Designing information flows (coordination systems)

  7. Promoting/ensuring quality in execution (quality assurance)

  8. Distributing rewards (managing incentivisation). Done by Compensation Managers.

  9. Supporting individuals (coaching, peer support)

  10. Interfacing with the outside (cross-group interactions & stakeholder management)

  11. Managing exceptions (conflict management)

  12. Transparency, membership, and the Unit Radiator role

    1. The work of this unit will be transparent to the DAO as a whole
    2. Membership needs to be open, but you need to participate effectively in the conversations
    3. One person will have the role of Radiator, committing to summarizing learnings and decisions to the full DAO on a regular weekly basis
