This research was designed to provide Scroll with data-driven insights to guide the development of effective builder support programs. The study aimed to offer a holistic, evidence-based framework tailored to Scroll’s ecosystem development strategy. It combined desk research with semi-structured interviews on a mixed sampling that intentionally included a variety of builder types (e.g., grant recipients, VC-funded teams, hackathon participants, builders with no prior ecosystem support) and spanned multiple geographies and verticals (DeFi, PayFi, Infra, DeSci).
