A tale of two reward systems
- Ad-hoc Members System: Supporters are rewarded through a system based on bounties (rewards defined before the work) and tips (retroactive assessment and reward).
- Committed Members System: Contributors and Leads are rewarded through a system based on peer-to-peer assessment (Using Coordinape).
Each of these models is based on accruing “Juice” and then using it towards either compensation in Fiat/stablecoins or Team Points.
- The Ad-hoc Members System allows members to receive Juice from each bounty or tip, and cover a % to Fiat, the remaining is allocated towards Team Points.
- While the Committed Members System is aimed towards first filling an amount in Fiat (called Minimum Fiat Need and determined through an agreement between each Contributor and the Unit), and any remaining points go towards Team Points.
Capital contributions: the system also enables to reconcile Capital contributions (i.e. members contributing fiat/stablecoins to the project or otherwise liquid assets). See the corresponding section for details.
