Where We Are

Collabberry has completed two phases of customer research: one pre-prototype and one post-launch. We’ve reached out to nearly 1,000 individuals and organizations across Web2 and Web3 ecosystems to test our value proposition and refine our approach. This effort has resulted in approximately 10 signups secured directly through sales calls, alongside one committed customer, myIRA.fund, an organization fully convinced that Collabberry solves their equity. Yonks approached us organically—a promising sign of market pull.

What We’ve Learned

Market Dynamics

User Behavior

  1. Procrastination as a Signal: When asked about onboarding delays, prospects often cite being “busy” and promise to engage “in two weeks.” This may indicate low desirability or perceived complexity in onboarding teams.
  2. Team Onboarding Resistance: Prospects hesitate to invite their teams—reasons remain unclear and require further exploration.
  3. Prototype Signups Misleading: Signups driven by personal requests (e.g., from me) skew our data and don’t reflect organic interest.
  4. DAO Challenges: DAOs grasp tokenization but struggle with onboarding due to collective decision-making hurdles.
  5. Added Complexity: Collabberry introduces complexity compared to no solution, and its success hinges on full team adoption—factors outside our control.

Product Feedback

  1. Opinionated Design: Not able to use HATS protocol for roles. Or monetary compensation can not be setup to be fixed
  2. Legal Relevance: Equity and tokenization raise legal questions that influence adoption.
